I know from the blog it doesn’t look like I’ve been doing much, but I’ve actually been working super-hard over the past few days, immersing myself in learning Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, while beginning to put together the first issue of Unashamed Magazine.
In the process, I’ve worked through quite a few tutorials. Last night, I sped through a tutorial on achieving a watercolor effect, using Photoshop’s Cutout, Median and Dry Brush filters (as well as Soft Light and Overlay modes). I did it on a shot of Baker that I took from West Lynden, was pleased with the result and thought I’d share:
