Sorry — perhaps I’m getting too opinionated in my old age… I really shouldn’t say anything critical about lyrics until I’ve successfully written some of my own — which, at this rate will be in another lifetime….

‘Monster’ is one of my favorite songs too.

‘Never Surrender’ and ‘One day to late’ are great songs, I hope you aren’t bashing them.

I agree with you on the oppinion of the lyrics to ‘It’s not me it’s you’. But John, I think, was abused as a kid and he wrote the song for other abused kids who believe that the abuses are all thier fault.

I’m quite fond of “love songs” and enjoyed ‘Don’t wake me’, ‘Should’ve when you could’ve’ and ‘Believe’. I’m offended that you commented that they were to reach secular high school students. I’m not secular.

Though, I understand that this is an oppinion based blog post.

On a side note, I’ll miss you and Jess (and Jimmy) and I hope I’ll still see you guys around sometime.
